Once upon a time, high above the world, lived a little cloud named Nimbus.
Nimbus wasn't like the other clouds, who were content to drift lazily across the sky.
He yearned for adventure! He wanted to see the world below.
One sunny morning, Nimbus decided he'd had enough of simply floating.
He squeezed himself tighter and tighter, condensing into a small, but determined, raindrop.
"Here I go!" he squeaked, as he plunged downwards.
He splashed into a bright red poppy in a field of green.
A busy bee was startled but kindly helped him into the pollen so he could continue his journey
The field mice who enjoyed this delicious treat then moved him forward with a large chunk for their winter stockpile!
After a day and a night the farmers had brought Nimbus safely home
